• 工作职责：

  The Czech Republic Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai was founded in 2019 by Czech businessmen and companies doing business in China. The goal of the chamber is to support, connect, and advocate for Czech businesses in China with Chinese business and government institutions. Czech Chamber builds a community of professionals by holding a variety of regular events for members and the general public including monthly happy hours, spring and fall industry dinners as well as irregular thematical lectures and Czech company brand marketing events.
  
  Summary of Position: We are looking for an Event Manager to lead the events team in Shanghai and deliver high-quality events and improve the visibility of the Czech Chamber. 
  
  Position Type: Part-time, remote（organize regular events in Shanghai&nearby cities）, paid hourly, 5-10 hours of work a month expected.
  
  Key responsibilities:
  - Develop an annual event plan to meet the needs of the Czech Chamber
  - Maintain past and develop new event space connections as well as relationships with speakers and Czech Chamber event attendees
  - Write and design compelling event fliers and promotion materials
  - Lead smooth onsite management for all events (i.e. happy hours, dinners, brand promotion events)
  - Guide the organization of event logistics including venues, invitations, speakers, marketing and advertising, procurement of goods and services and funding of each event.

  Skills & Qualifications:
  - Based in Shanghai
  - Good knowledge of Czech Republic and Europe
  - Near native English speaker a must, other languages including Czech, Mandarin are a plus
  - Minimum of 2 years of event organizational experience
  - Excellent project management skills
  - Outstanding verbal and written communicator
  - Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  - Ability to work to strict deadlines
  - A team player with a proactive and flexible approach to work with an outgoing personality
  - Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite.
